Mobility Goals policy topics visual for the Los Angeles Department of City Planning
THE STORY

City planning is an information problem before it is a graphic one. The material has to communicate policy, geography, mobility, timelines and technical constraints to people with very different levels of expertise.

My work for the Los Angeles Department of City Planning included publication systems, design guidelines, maps, technical illustrations, charts, graphs and public-facing planning communications. Projects in the archive include Mobility 2035 and Healthy LA materials.

The design goal was clarity without oversimplification: preserve the complexity of the subject while making the information legible, structured and usable.
